Hello, everyone. I haven't been on here much so I'll give you some updates! Some sad, some great.

First of all, I want to thank everyone again for helping me raise funds for our cat, Fluffy.
Sadly, even after months and months of intense treatments and countless vet visits, his health kept getting worse and worse. It hurts to say it, but he had to be put down as he lost sights in both eyes and was in severe pain. They never figured out what was causing it and just figuring out which disease it was would cost hundreds more which we didn't have. No matter what it was, it was untreatable.
I assure you, every cent you guys helped me raise went into his medical expenses, plus another 300€ or so of our own money. I can't thank you enough for your love and support.
He's in a better place now, he doesn't have to suffer any further. Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for giving Fluffy many more months of living. Without treatment, he never would have survived this long.

On to lighter topics... There has, however, been two new cats in my life. One has shown up to the house the exact same day as Fluffy was put down, and is of the same character as he was, which is honestly very weird and also very.... surprising and great. It may be one of his babies, we'll never know! I say it's a very happy coincidence. He's very welcome here. The second one has recently shown up at my family's home and we feed him, keep him warm and cuddle him a lot. He won't go inside but we make sure he has everything he needs on the balcony. He's a black an white male cat and luckily kind of gets along with our other cat.
I now also have two guinea pigs! That's right. They are brother guinea pigs I took in because my aunt was unable to take care of this many guinea pigs (she had nine!). One of them was born without eyes so I took in the blind boy Vergil (we don't actually call him that though, we call him Mižek or Meži, play on words for having closed eyes aka not having them) and his brother, Dante. (hah, yes. Sorry.)
They've also been having a bunch of health problems so I've been caring for them recently.

Here's a picture!:

I have been distancing myself from DeviantArt as I, honest to god, have come to hate this website. I really am not interested in being stolen from, not being seen unless I pay a lot of money for a premium membership, and seeing only furries and foot fetishes every time I open the front page.

I've moved to my Twitter and that's where I'm active all day, that's where I post all my stuff, even sketches and unrelated topics.
I've mostly been moderating the r/devilmaycry subreddit discord server and being over-, OVER-excited about Devil May Cry 5 as you can imagine.

That's about it! Thanks for being patient with me to those who still stick around :)

I'll see you on Twitter! <3

Update

1 min read
I wanted to update you guys on a few things.

The cat, first of all. He was healed fully and was let out, but he's apparently very territorial (castration didn't help with it so it's likely his characteristics) and got into another fight with the other cats in the village and now has to be treated again. It's being covered by what was left of the emergency commissions. Only his front paw this time, but his ears are also in bad shape. He's healing though and is very chill and cool with being inside by now.

I'll be closing commissions indefinitely due to working on my diploma and working on a book (paid job) so I'll barely have time for myself, let alone commissions. Sorry!

I'm on DeviantArt less and less so you can catch me on my Twitter.

I also occasionally stream art on Twitch if you're interested.

Cheers~

Hello everyone,

I just wanted to update you on Fluffy's situation.

The funds have been covered and paid in full! Thank you all so much for the support. We even covered the cat's castration and all the medication it got! That's amazing!

Thanks to all of you, he'll be having his last vet visit this week, hopefully. After that, they'll take Fluffy's bandages off and let the wounds heal without a bandage. The vets are very impressed that he recovered so well and how beautiful he's become. When we took him in, he was on the verge of death (as the vet put it), his fur was nasty brown, scarred everywhere. Now, his wounds are healed and his fur is glowing white. Not to mention his behavior change for the better since castration. Thankfully he eats everything (well, almost. He's become picky lately) and got all the medication into his system in time.

Furthermore, the castration went well and he's become insanely cuddly since then, he wants to jump into our laps and wants to be cuddled all the time. He does want to go out but he's not jumping anywhere, not even scratching or meowing. He sits and lays around, rolls, follows us and is a very, very good guy in general. Bless this cat, really. Cats can be hell to handle.

As I said, whenever I see a post on my local cat sanctuary's page asking for help with vet bills, I'll do my part and donate to them. The cats they find and take in often need s/n and are in bad shape. I've done it before, I've donated food and treats as well but I see now that what they need help with is mostly funds to cover their medical bills. Even check-ups are often over 30-50€ since they test for all sorts of illnesses.

That's about it!

Thanks again, and I'll make sure he's safe in the future <3

Emergency commissions [CAT HELP]

EDIT: Commissions closed for now (full capacity)

Everyone, I'm so excited to tell you we've raised over 250€! I really hope that even with the transfer fees, it will be enough to cover the veterinary expenses. I'm still open for donations if you have anything to spare. If there are any funds left over, I'll be saving that money for future vet visits, his castration and supplies such as diet food he needs, medication, litter and such. When I get funds onto my PayPal in the future from commission work, I'll be donating to a local cat sanctuary that often needs help with similar situations! You strongly believe you gotta give back and help those in need.

I want to show you proof because I want to be completely transparent. Here's the balance!

Public list of commissions and donators

I want to thank every single one on this list, I'm doing my best to provide links and traffic to your pages in return! Anything you want me to share with my viewers, please, go ahead. You deserve all the support in return for what you've given me and Fluffy!

Number of vet visits so far: 5

Update regarding the kitty's health:

Thanks to everyone who's given kind words, commissioned me or even donated! I'm extremely taken aback by the number of people who care about Fluffy. He's been doing good, he's eating and taking his medication. He's also purred a few times after being pet, he normally purrs like crazy but rarely after he was hurt. Each of his pupils is a different size, one is always more dilated than the other. They're unsure why that is but it wasn't like this before he got hurt. Might be due to his face wound. He's getting wild at night due to his mating needs so we're having him castrated as soon as it's possible. The prices for that vary from 30€ to 60€. Hopefully not the most expensive price. His front paw is really bothering him, but his back paw is doing well, he got some sort of metal stitch in it to hold his flesh together so it can heal faster and his bone isn't exposed directly anymore. He's down to one sort of medication from 3, and he's also been given anti-worm pills (he had worms apparently, we didn't know until the 3rd visit). I did find a single worm in his litter the next day so that's great, it worked. He's still very very shaky all the time, they said it might be due to nerve damage. Which is bad. Otherwise, he no longer needs to be sedated when they're changing his bandages which is amazing, the vet is impressed! The bill is still left open so I have no clue how much it will be by the end. I'll post about it when I find out!

Update 2: He's apparently suffered strong trauma to his head (a hit or fall, maybe) so he's always shaking and his eyes shine, pupils are always dilated differently. His eye wound is healing well, his front paw is in the healing process (muscle can still be seen from both sides but the infection is going away due to the antibiotics) but his back paw is still terribly damaged, you can still see bones exposed. It's... pretty bad. But it'll heal, the metal stitches aren't doing much but I'm sure he'll recover well, possibly lose a toe on his back leg and be fine afterwards.

Hey, everyone. Sorry to write this, I feel terrible because I never thought I'd be one of THOSE people...
But. Let's get to the point.

I'll be taking emergency commissions to cover my cat Fluffy's veterinary expenses.

If you want to read about the damage and the reason for the expenses, keep reading. Otherwise, skip to the bottom!

I have a male cat and just before scheduling an appointment to have him castrated,
he disappeared for 3 days and came back heavily wounded. During those 3 days, there was intense snowing the whole time.
To give some background, he is an outside cat that lives at my boyfriend's place. He lives on a large chunk of land in the hills,
not many houses around so he is free to explore the nature. We feed him, take care of him, pet him. He comes inside sometimes but
not for long as he demands to go back outside after a while. He's around 3 years old and we took him in from a friend after a cat
of his had babies and left them so they were all alone without a mother.
At home, we have, and always had, cats. But we keep them inside. This is not my home and I can't keep him inside as they don't allow this. Please, understand.

When he came back, he was heavily limping, drinking snow water and meowing with each step. He was in bad shape, he had swollen limbs and
was licking the entry wounds heavily.

We took him to the vet the next morning (they were closed the day before) and the vet realised the wounds were far too severe to be treated once.
Basically, his front right paw (the upper part of the leg) has been bitten from both sides (outer and inner part)
and has become heavily infected. His back left paw has been almost cut open in between the toes on his paws and he has lost a claw. His bone was exposed and his wound was open.

There has also been damage to his face (under his right eye there is a scar that is leaking blood and pus),
his ears are bloody and damaged. His pupils are nuts and he's shaking a lot.

I was told there's still a chance he might not make it. We can't know how far the infection has spread. Hoping for the best.

Now, why I need your help.

I won't get into the graphic details of his injuries (they are... extremely graphic), but the vet has told me that they might have to amputate the cat's leg if the infection doesn't heal.

The costs AT THE FIRST VISIT include
several sedations, the procedures to weigh him, take his temperature, shave his paws, cut his claws, treat his ears, give him eye drops, give him IV in the lower and upper back as he was dehydrated,
give him several injections of antibiotics and painkillers (I counted 3), treat his wounds with iodine and peroxide and bandaging him up strongly (this took two hours). The cat also got an Elizabethan collar
and a prescription diet of Hill's Feline cat food.

I was given several packs of pills, pumps and powders to give him during his healing process. I also had to buy a cat transporter, food, food bowls, a bed, a litter box, a scoop for it etc. as he was an outside cat and didn't have these.

What we spoke about on the second visit:
He told me the process could take up to 3 months. I will have to take the cat in to have the bandages replaced and the wounds treated every 2-3 days.
He said the costs will be approximately 10€ per bandage replacement. That doesn't include the work and the medication.
He said he'll leave the bill open but it will end up being at least 300€. Likely beyond that.

The third visit was yesterday, we had to take him immediately as his bandage fell off due to the amount of leakage there was from the wound. He also had leakage from his face and after they cleaned the wound, he now has a massive hole in his face that also needs treatment. Even more expenses. They had to sedate him again, we were told he has worms and given even more medication. That's three times so far. The bill is getting larger.

The first visit was 70€, I gave the money right away. But to cover the rest of the expenses, I'm going to need your help.

If you are willing to help me out, please consider commissioning me. If you aren't interested in art, you can donate as well. Though I'd love to do something for you in return.

I'm not going to post any pictures here as that may be disturbing to some. Here's a stash link where you can see the pictures I took.
